Grew up on Praconis Minor. Parents were Lydia Tholin and Bronos Tholin?. Bronos was killed by J'on Toske? when J'ror was 11. Attended Praconis Minor Praxeum and was a ranger in his later years at Kri Planetary Park?. It was while marking trails there that he met Vraile Dranson. They developed a relationship while she was attending Byblos University? studying under the famous archaeologist Doctor Jones. She was part of the team assigned to assist J'ror's group on Andijon in excavating and cataloguing a palace built by Sith warlords there some centuries ago. While taking a break to hike, they encountered a Dark Jedi known as Aelgifa?. She tricked them and disappeared with Vraile, sending J'ror on a ten year quest to find her. Along the way he rescued To'iir from slavery as a teenager, eventually taking her as his student and for a while, his lover.

Eventually they found Vraile, causing a rift between J'ror and To'iir, which took some time to heal. J'ror set To'iir up with Albrecht Daviclaste? as an advisor while he and Vraile went undercover to monitor Starburst Corporation. Some years later, J'ror had a hand in getting several students to take a vacation that would change the galaxy.

During a series of adventures, J'ror and Vraile suffered some fundamental viewpoint differences and ended up getting divorced. Shortly thereafter, J'ror left Coruscant where he was at the time and found his way to To'iir through Alexandra Dormamu. They were both involved in the activities? that led to the defeat? of Bellisarius.

J'ror disappeared himself for a while. It was rumored that he is part of some sort of mysterious Rogue Jedi organization that spies on a variety of activities around the galaxy and meddles in affairs in ways the Jedi Order would not approve of.

He was last known? to be frozen at absolute zero with a Dark Swarm working its way towards his brain.
