Alexandra Athoni

How can you seek forgiveness for orchestrating a war?
How can you find redemption for living a lie to the Galaxy for years?
How can you stand letting your child grow up without parents, just so you stay separated from the life you knew?
How can you deal with murdering a friend, simply because she couldn't understand?
How can you live with killing your husband when he didn't believe?
Alexandra Athoni is searching for those answers now as she atones for being Alexandra Dormamu for the past twenty years.

She began her training in the Jedi Order as a Naturalist/Healer when she was taken from her home on Alderaan, studying in the Jedi Temple? on Coruscant. Her powers grew quickly and she became a rising star among her peers. But a spate of Potentium Heresy uprisings across the Order seemed to change her. In her last years as an Acolyte?, she began to sneak out of the Temple, be more disruptive, and was generally argumentative against the methods the Order used against the various uprisings. She felt that many Jedi deaths were avoidable if only the Order had been more up front and in control of the situation rather than letting it deteriorate as it had. The Jedi Council was beginning to take an interest, her protests were so loud. However, days before she was to begin talking to a Master on becoming a Padawan?, she stopped talking about it. While questioned about it by potential Masters, she declined to elaborate, saying only that she now "saw the issue from a different perspective".

She selected and was selected by a relatively unknown Jedi Master known as Valis?. Her Padawan days were uneventful and she eventually was elevated to Guardian Knight?. She married ??? and had two children by him before they both disappeared with their children while traveling through the Colonies?. That is the end of Alexandra Athoni as far as the Jedi Order knows.

On one of her excursions into the main city of Coruscant, she was approached by Zeltar J'hund. He had heard of her dissatisfaction with the Order and offered her a part in a network of Rogue Jedi he was constructing that would take a more active hand in controlling the Sith. He suggested they manage Sith uprisings, ensuring that they were under control of a loyalist leader who could allow the dismemberment of the cell at the appropriate time. She was intrigued, and accepted. He directed her towards a sympathizer within the Order, who hurried her through her training in an otherwise uninteresting manner.

But then J'hund didn't reappear for a while. In the meantime, she married ??? and held out hope that she would find this mysterious Rogue again and work to destroy the Sith from within. She told nobody about this, and when J'hund finally did direct her again, she was forced to flee with her children, the youngest Igashu slowing her enough that ??? nearly caught her several times before she was forced to confront him. He thought she had turned, and fought her. She was forced to kill him, cementing her place with J'hund. In order to make a clean getaway, she was forced to leave Igashu behind and carry on only with Marcus Dormamu.

She was installed as CEO of a small holding company and directed as to which business empires she should take over financially. She acquired access to a Sith cell in doing this, and turned their attentions to developing the business empire of the growing Santaros Corporation rather than overthrowing the Galactic Republic. Eventually she could hold them back no longer, and she orchestrated a quick downfall of the corporate empire and Sith cell. However, in her escape, she was taken captive by the Lotus Fleet and delivered to Momoudu the Hutt. In captivity, she was set upon by Momoudu's attack beasts and brutally killed. However, she used the last of her strength to use the Dark Side and transferred her life essence into the body of her former friend, pirate Captain Sophia Naronne. Using the privileges of the Captain, she made her escape, disappearing once again.

She stumbled around the Outer Rim?, doing her best to heal those in need and do good wherever she could, but it wasn't until she encountered To'iir and became her co-conspirator in a slave-liberation scheme that she was able to beat back some of her demons again and get on with life. As J'ror Tholin found them and eventually Igashu and the rest of the Heroes, she found some sort of redemption in their forgiveness, and more in assisting them in the defeat? of Bellisarius and the foiling of Zeltar J'hund's plans there. Still in debt to a galaxy she has wronged and in more debt to friends who have been more understanding than they should be, she continues to try to find a way to atone for what she's done. This time in her own way, with her own friends.
