Bellisarius

The main villain for the Sith Pain God chapter and a background thorn in the side of the Heroes for some time, this creature stands nearly three meters tall, covered in spikes and blades, with four arms ending in razored fingers. See here and especially here for pictures. Bellisarius is made of alchemically Force imbued organic steel, and masses enough that Wookiees? would have difficulty budging him. Despite this, he is capable of moving at incredible speed through use of the Force to bend time around him.

Origins and History

The true origins of Bellisarius are lost in time or may never be known. What is known is that he appeared during the aftermath of the Great Hyperspace War and was able to wreak some small measure of havoc before a group of Jedi defeated him. There was one known survivor. But every few hundred years, he would appear out of the blue, latch on to some growing Sith movement, propel it into a major power, then disintigrate, defeated by another Jedi, who presumably perished as well.

But this was not exactly the case, as our Heroes learned.

Bellisarius and the Resurrection Parasite

It is known that Bellisarius has some connection to the Resurrection Parasite. He is able to infect victims with it, and they suffer from a need to be near him. The extent of these prasites and those they have infected is unknown at present, although the current head of the Jedi Council, Zeltar Hale, is known to posess two, one for himself and one for his former student, Altair T'nol.

Bellisarius Defeated?

The characters were able to defeat him, but due to his peculiar ability to move through time, this may have happend at a point in Bellisarius' future, so the possibility remains that he will return.

Update: It appears that Bellisarius has not been entirely vanquished. He has appeared aboard the Republic vessel Rhelta in defense of the girl Aenea, with whom he has some sort of connection. He killed every crew member that had the Resurrection Parasite, which was all but one. Aenea believes it is likely he will appear again, even though she does not wish it and cannot control him.
