10.2.4786 Republic Reckoning

So continues the longest day our heroes have had yet. When last we left Igashu, Elbram, and To'iir were preparing for a dangerous battle with a Sith. Elbram and Igashu pair up and tag team the purple saber wielding bald double, while To'iir faces off against the red saber wielding bald double. In a quick flurry of attacks, Igashu manages to land a hit on purple and kills him. Yay! Score one for the good guys. Red baldy also lets loose with a series of attacks, leaving To'iir wounded and retreating. Booo! Elbram and Igashu leap to the rescue and exchange even more blow with their new opponent. Elbram steps up with a successful disarming of the bad guy, who simply begins calling the saber back to his hand. As it flies by Igashu cuts it out of the air and follows through with a swing at Baldie that narrowly misses. After ducking Igashu's attack Baldie reaches out and calls his dead double's saber to him and Elbram takes his shot, cutting the saber out of the air and following though for a hit! Bad guy goes down! Score 2 for the good guys! Woot! As expected, the bad guy is badass enough to take the hit and not die... luckily for us he's still out of commission for a while.

Meanwhile J'ror begins to stabilize Mira while Dabai, Quindo, and Brojen head for the communications array. Dabai covers the base camp while Quindo and Brojen head inside for a look around. Troops begin to return, and Dabai catches them by surprise and opens fire. Quindo and Brojen charge out and assist Dabai in a quick victory. From the com array a quick message is sent to the Republic Fleet to let them know we need a lift for a few hundred assorted prisoners and refugees.

Questioning of the severely injured Sith reveals his name is Jaysin Yung, and he was responsible for the Yungists. It seems the kidnap victims were a test groups for mind control drugs. More specifically drugs that made the victim more susceptible to suggestion and control via the Force.

A scout ship arrives 1 day ahead of the fleet and the youngsters jump on board leaving J'ror, Mira, Vraile, and To'iir to take care of the prisoners and refugees until the rest of the fleet arrives. Shipments are headed to Brentaal, Belnar, Coruscant, Corellia, and Alderaan. Since we can't get everywhere in time, we choose to go to Brentaal first dropping Igashu and Dabai to handle things there and moving on to Corellia. During transit Brojen manages the heroic feat of making mental contact with his master, Altair. Altair is conveniently on Coruscant and can see to it that the rest of the planets are taken care of.

Further analysis of Santaros shipments shows that drugs come in two parts. Victim must consume both Alter(tm) and Crispy Wheat(tm). Due to this discovery Santaros is seized and the company is nationalized by the Republic for treasonous acts. Victory is ours!

Finally the group arrives on Coruscant to hear the good news. Of course Dormamu and most of her cronies managed to escape, but for now at least they've been stopped. J'ror is there waiting for us, and Valis denies everything. The bastard.
