Early Games Summary 4
7.28.4786 Republic Reckoning
We finally leave Klatooine, heading for Nwarkal Point. We arrive to find the Void Nebula? beaten to hell and docked with a 1 km long Sith Lawn Dart?. Both ships appear dead. We board the Void Nebula in space suits and make our way through, looking for survivors. We've sensed Zeltar Hale's presence on board the Sith ship and one other life sign on the Void Nebula.
Some sections of the ship are open to space, and getting into sealed sections is difficult. We find the only survivor on the Void Nebula. It's Captain Naronne. She's sealed herself into a storage cabinet with a bottle of air. She's unconscious, but we get her into an emergency suit. We can't get her through the way we came, so we leave Nakail to watch her and try to find an alternate route out.
Nakail wanders off on his own to locate the Sith Holocron?. He finds it sealed into a bulkhead and cuts it out with his lightsaber. He can't get back to Altair T'nol's ship, so he wanders into the Sith vessel.
Meanwhile, we've been spotted by one of the Sith Attack Droids?. It sets off an alarm. Altair disengages from the Void Nebula and pretends to leave. He will come back for us when we signal him. Igashu, Quindo, Elbram, and Davin sneak on board the Sith Lawn Dart? through a repair droid access panel.
A very short time later, we meet a human in dark robes. He identifies himself as DJ Jr's Master. We're a bit worried, considering that the Junior Darksider has been schooling us hardcore. We remain defiant until DJ Sr. tells us that he's here to take us to his DJ Master. We decide that discretion is the better part of valour and attempt to retreat through a sealed blast door. While Igashu and Davin try to spring the lock, Quindo and Elbram stand ready with their wits and their lightsabers. Witty banter doesn't seem to be Senior's thing.
Dj Sr. becomes impatient and tosses a Bolt of Hatred at Quindo. Determined to let go of his anger and prove that the Light Side? can be stronger than the Dark, Quindo drops his lightsaber and lets the Bolt hit him. Trusting the Light Side, Quindo manages to ground out the Bolt without harm. A nasty voice deep inside tries to goad him into throwing it back, but Quindo successfully resists and closes off the spigot of Evil that has been bleeding into him since he threw a Cell Burst at DJ Jr.
Igashu and Davin get through the door. We dash through and seal it in DJ Sr.'s face. We make our way up through the ship toward where we sense Hale. Suddenly, the floor drop out from under us and drops us down a series of chutes. Amazingly, only Davin gets separated from the rest of the group.
Elbram, Igashu, and Quindo find themselves in a droid factory. DJ Sr. must know his way through the ship better than us, because he steps around a corner suddenly and cuts Elbram across the chest. Elbram manages to avoid a fatal wound, but the injury proves too much for him to remain conscious. Senior attacks with his lightstaff. Quindo manages to come in completely around his guard and resists the urge to chop the darksider's head off. His recent escape from the Dark Side leads Quindo to attempt to demonstrate that mercy and the light side are stronger than the Dark. Basically, Quindo is trying to repay the lightside for saving his ass back at the blast door. The tactic succeeds, and Quindo counts coup on "DJ Sr.". "DJ Sr." is impressed, but doesn't slow his attack. Call it weakness, etc.
Finally, Igashu manages to cut the double saber in half, destroying the mechanism of one. Left with only one blade against two opponents, DJ Sr. beats a hasty retreat. We tend to our fallen friend. Igashu and Quindo stabalize Elbram but can't wake him up. After a short discussion, they decide that Elbram would want them to continue on to rescue Hale. Igashu swipes the broken bits of lightstaff and pulls out the crystal. Elbram is bandaged and hidden beneath a bed in a nearby cabin.
Meanwhile, Nakail has reached the inner sanctum of the DJ Master. Nakail was smart enough to hide the Sith Holocron? before getting this close, but "DJ Master" rips the location from his mind and immobilizes him. "Master" gets the Holocron and taunts poor Nakail. Nakail draws on his anger and humiliation and manifests Alter and Surge. He unleashes electromagnetic hell upon the unsuspecting cybernetic Sith. "DJ Master" goes down and stays down. Nakail grabs the bad guy's lightsaber and cuts him in half, just to be sure.
Davin arrives just in time to distract Nakail from continuous chopping, and Nakail runs off, never to be seen again. The rest of our heroes arrive at Zeltar Hale's cell and meet up with Davin.
Altair and Hale are locked inside blue-glowing Force resistant cages. Davin is able to disable the bars around Altair, but he's in bad shape. DJ Sr. shows up and we hold him at the door while Davin tries to get Hale out. Altair is in no shape to fight so it's up to Quindo and Igashu to do most of the "almost getting themselves cut in half". The Sith throws around your general Darksider Propoganda which we basically ignore.
Davin nearly electrocutes himself while trying to disable Hale's cage, but manages to get him out eventually. Hale leaps out, TK's a lightsaber and blocks a swing from DJ Sr. just before it takes off Igashu's head. Whew. "DJ Sr." runs off. We go get Elbram and get the heck off the Sith Lawn Dart?.
We follow Nakail's trail back to Andijon. He thumbed a ride with Aelyn. We spend the trip meditating over what's been happening and trying to Figure out our next move. Davin Sense's Path.
8.3.4786 Republic Reckoning
We meet up with To'iir and J'ror Tholin on Andijon. Hale and Altair take our ship to go after Nakail and order us to escort To'iir and J'ror back to Coruscant. It appears that we've all been summoned by the Jedi Council.
