Early Games Summary 3
7.11.4786 Republic Reckoning
A number of strange arachnid robots are blocking our way out of the temple. Quindo gets his first real chance to show how cool he is with a lightsaber. The battle is difficult, but no one is hurt.
We get past the droids to find a shadowy alien crouched over a dead Mister Kabir?. The alien flees with the swords. Forunately, the swords are fake! We discover the real swords in one of the alcoves that the droids came out of. The chamber is locked, but Igashu has the key!
We also discover a Sith Holocron? which gives us a little history lesson regarding the history of the temple and its master, Verikas?. The information, coupled with the Sith Runes? on the door point us to the moon of Andijon.
That night, Aelyn hijacks the crew of the Second Dawn? and escapes with the Swords, Armor, and Sith Holocron. She was acting strangely after the encounter with the Holocron. Perhaps she is being influenced?
7.12.4786 Republic Reckoning
To'iir returns with her ship. We visit the true monument to the "might" of Verikas?. On Andijon's moon, we find a field of millions of its previous inhabitants piked out in a grid surrounding a structure. Runes on the structure point to the homeworld of Verikas?' Master. We are unable to decipher them.
Unbeknownst to us, Nakail has been influenced by a Sith Holocron? which promised him vast knowledge and power. Nakail begins to decipher the runes, but knows that he will noly be able to locate Verikas?' Master with help from the missing Holocron. He does not reveal this information to us.
The quickest way back to civilization is through the Changrin Hub?. Perhaps Aelyn or the Dark Alien have gone through there and left a trail we could follow?
7.15.4786 Republic Reckoning
We track the Dark Force Using Alien to Executive Bay 27. We are immediately attacked by three attack droids. The alien makes a run for it and Quindo bypasses the droids to attack the alien directly. The rest of the group fights the droids.
Unfortunately, Quindo is unprepared to face a Sith. He is picked up by Telekinesis and bent uncomfortably backwards. Quindo taunts the alien while concentrating on trying to disrupt the alien's hold on him. The alien laughs and declares that we are no match for him and we shall meet his Master in good time. Not a good sign.
In desperation and anger, Quindo tries to Cell Burst the alien directly and gains his first Dark Side Point. The alien get a nosebleed, which causes him to pause in his monologue long enough for the rest of the good guys to finish off the last droid and charge up the ramp toward the ship's bay.
The alien? casually tosses Quindo into the rest of the group, knocking them all back off the ramp while the airlock cycles shut. We are unable to break into the ship before it powers up and flies away. Aelyn and her crew arrive just in time to start firing at us, and retreat while we've got our heads down.
We get a comm link open to To''ir? and tell her to go after the retreating Dark Jedi. We go after Aelyn.
We quickly contact the station security force to tell them about the attack, and they put out an All Station Bulletin for Aelyn and her crew. We "borrow" a couple of police cars and incidentally crash them. We tell station security to "Contact our Lawyer" for reparations.
We lose track of them after the crash, but discover that they are heading toward Bay 13C. Somehow we beat them there. Doctor Saro? is onboard and is quite helpful. It seems that their original employer was Momoudu the Hutt, but Aelyn decided to try to sell the artifacts to the highest bidder and they are now being chased by the good guys and the bad guys. In fact, Aelyn and her crew have been captured by some of Momoudu's thugs and are about to be executed in Docking Bay 54.
We can't really allow that to happen. After Davin quickly disables the Second dawn?, we swipe a couple more vehicles and get to Bay 54 just in time. We fight our way past the thugs to the airlock. Aelyn, Landsdown?, and Yacinth? are inside. More thugs arrive and Davin holds them off while Igashu and Quindo try to prevent the airlock from opening to space. Igashu can't hack in, so Quindo breaches the inner door with his lightsaber. Alarms begin to sound, but at least the outer door won't open now.
Momoundu's agent arrives. Her name is Captain Naronne, of the Lotus Fleet. She works for Momoudu the Hutt and is here to retrieve the artifacts. We agree to let her have them if she lets Aelyn and her crew go free. Also, we would like the opportunity as representatives of the Jedi Council to purchase the artifacts. We explain that they are dangerous and that the Jedi are the best hands for them to end up in.
Naronne agrees. We also insist that we be allowed to accompany the artifacts to protect them until they can reach their "final" destination. We explain that there is a Dark Jedi looking for them and that her crew is no match for a Force user. She disagrees, but allows us to follow her to meet with Momoudu.
She leaves for Klatooine, we follow. We inform the Council and are told that Zeltar Hale is being sent in an official capacity to negotiate the aquisition of the artifacts. We fully expect the Dark Jedi to attempt to intercept them en route, but the trip is uneventful.
Republic Reckoning 7.28.4786
We arrive on Klatooine.
We land at a rural spaceport well outside the capital city. We locate the Dark Jedi's ship. Davin attempts to disable it before we leave to track the bad guy. We take a local bus to the city.
Zeltar Hale and Altair T'nol have already reached the capital city and are meeting with Captain Naronne. We arrive and hang out near the Void Nebula?, waiting for news. Nakail thinks that he spots the Dark Jedi and sets off in pursuit. Elbram notices Nakail leaving and follows him. Quindo takes off after Elbram. Igashu and Altair see Quindo rounding the corner and chase off after him. What we need is better communication.
Altair's advice on following people.
We follow the dark alien into the subways and onto a private subway train. Igashu and Nakail work their way through until they reach a car full of guards. Trying to bluff their way past doesn't work, so they try intimidation.
There's a minor scuffle, the Jedi make it though to the main car. They meet Hogdu the Hutt? who claims that nobody got on the train and that we must arrive at his palace to make a formal appology or face the consequences of the intrusion. Igashu hastily agrees and gets off the train.
Unfortunately, Hale is pissed and insists that we actually do as Igashu promised.
That night, Hogdu the Hutt? decides that our punishment is to be dumped into the latrine pits during a particularly large party at his palace. Seeing as how our only other real option is to kill our way out, Altair lets us be buried up to our necks in shit. We try to use Telekinesis to avoid the worst of it, and Control Disease to prevent lasting damage, but it is not a pleasant evening. Quindo gets his second Dark Side Point, when he gives into his anger and the influence of his first Dark Side Point, to fling shit back up the pit violently. Hogdu's guests are not pleased. Hale leaves with the Naronne on board the Void Nebula?.
