Empower Force
From Hero's Guide by JD Wiker and Rodney Thompson.
Effect: By increasing the difficulty and expending some energy, a Jedi may increase the effects of a Force power. An empowered skill deals half again as much damage or adds half again as much of a bonus as normal. This only affects powers that directly damage or give bonuses for short periods of time. Force Lightning may be empowered, but not Lightsaber Combat. Accelerate Healing may be empowered, but Heal may not.
By doubling the difficulties, the user may increase the effect of a Force power by one-half. The user must make an Easy stamina check after the first use, with the difficulty increasing by five for every additional use within an hour. Every hour without Empowering Force, the difficulty decreases by five down to Easy. If the Jedi fails the check all Force powers have their difficulty doubled and the Jedi is considered fatigued until they can rest. The stamina checks are cumulative with other special powers such as Enlarge Force and Extend Force.
To learn this power, the Jedi must have at least 5D Control and 3D in the other abilities. It costs a base 15cp to learn with a teacher, and 45 without a teacher. The Jedi usually do not teach this power as it is most inherently useful for offensive actions.
This power may be used concurrently with Maximize Force, adding one half the normally rolled result to the normal maximum.
