The researcher she was paired with was Saihaj Virdee, and they hit it off, eventually getting married. Now mid-career, they accepted a position on Aysemius in the Village of Canton as the local Standardization team, along with Kannitha Rous. They are thinking of starting a family and have every intention of settling there for a while.

Souvana plays the fiddle in the more active town band. She is a middle-aged human female, with brown hair and usually lots of energy. She is usually keeping Kannitha out of trouble or in her lab hybridizing a new crop strain.
