A passable quality lightsaber gem. Often given to students when constructing their first lightsaber and often used in multi-crystal modifications. Requires a search check of difficulty 20 in Adegan? and Illum? crystal caves, +5 or more to find in other crystal locations. Gives a base damage of 4D character or 5D+1 speeder depending on the rules options used.

Danite after cutting (Moderate gemcutting or Difficult lightsaber repair check, a botched check missing by more than half the difficulty will cause the gem to be destroyed for lightsaber purposes.) needs 200kJ of energy to activate.
