Republic Reckoning 6.24 -> 6.26.87

The crew hung out with Senator Adi-rena Bultar Petothal? in the Kauri Princess's bar -- Zerrol's. Discussion topics included Dr. Jones and his thoughts on the origins of humanity. The ball starts, and it is noticed that someone is charging their room for food. Quindo takes Arvandus to investigate while Igashu and Christina go to the ball. The phantom charger is quickly revealed to be Bro'jen! Quindo pings Igashu with the happy news, interrupting a "moment" with Christine.

Apparently Bro'jen had woken up on a farm on Nantel. Spent a week there working and hiding. Found Aegon and was smuggled out on a supply ship. Aegon stayed behind with Elbram, he reports, although he never did see Elbram. Boarded the Princess with steerage passengers -- about 200 people.

During the telling, security shows up and returns Bro'jen to "his room," despite his best efforts to persuade them otherwise.

The ship continues en route and Igashu and Christina go to see the Senator while Quindo tries to contact Dr. Mwadon?, the ship's surgeon. Igashu - "Be a Knight for a day." He gets Bro'jen transferred back up to the suite. Igashu goes back to the ball searching for the Senator while Bro'jen takes a shower. Quindo unsuccessfully tries to get Dr. Mwadon to join the group. Igashu tracks the Senator to her room, and Jacen Harrick? is there.

Before anything can be said, someone attacks! Christene deflects the bolt back at the assassin, but it hits the turbolift doors. Security is summoned. Igashu thought about doing something crazy, but realized "We can save crazy for later." Security arrives, but the turbolift security cameras are down. Christina and Igashu are debriefed by security. They now know that at least Christina and Bro'jen are Jedi. There apparently was a previous assassination attempt on the Senator. It is decided to call Bro'jen, and he shows up in robes. Well, a bathrobe anyway. Igashu explains the situation to him. The Senator agrees to help in any way necessary.

Quindo meets up with the rest of the crew and they go down to the hangar deck where security is guarding the shuttles while about 200 people are sleeping on the floor. Dr. Mwadon admits he cannot offer his services without company approval, but a health crisis is near. Inadequate food, poor sanitation. Legal possibilities are loudly discussed, making company people nervous. Igashu takes the opportunity to go off and be sneaky, while Christine gets a tailor to make some robes for Bro'jen. He ends up with robes cut from a tuxedo that was made for a Wookie?. Quindo goes to check out Arvandus.

Igashu searched turbolift bays and way over use Postcognition. Finds a tampered camera, then sets a trap with security around the camera.

The senator's husband doesn't like Jacen Harrick, the Tion? businessman (who's sleeping with his wife, though that hasn't been entirely confirmed).

Bro'jen helps the refugees and learns some gardening out of it.

Igashu's trap seems to point to one of the Wallball team members being the assassin...
