The Zobal System has a mixture of light industry and aquiculture. Only 20 percent of the planet's surface is land, although this was not always the case. Massive tectonic activity several thousand years ago resulted in the sinking of a major continent. Zobal Perzeta is the closest planet-sized body to the system's primary, although there are extensive asteroid belts between it and the system's sun. It has no large moons, but every few hundred years it's orbit brings it relatively close to the next closest planet in the system. Zobal II is a massive gas giant, almost a brown dwarf, with a highly eccentric orbit. (It's orbit is highly elliptical, and has a high angle with respect to the ecliptic). Several hundred million years ago, a smaller gas giant collided with it, which accounts for the exotic ring systems and lack of major moons. The rest of the system consists of unremarkable diffuse asteroids and frozen iceballs.

Zobal Perzeta has a number of deposits of naturally purified ore and abundant geothermal energy, resulting in a thriving light industry.

Zobal Perzeta Praxeum is the chapterhouse closest to Wuqin. One of the smaller chapterhouses, the Jedi praxeum was located in a high mountain valley, but most of the planet's population lives near the coasts. Students tended fields of wheat and barley in between their academic lessons under the instruction of the naturalist Jedi master Foom Zech?. Upper class students enjoy beer with their meals that they brewed themselves. The praxeum didn't provide all of its food, but could subsist by itself in an emergency, even a longterm one. The school buildings are located in high snowcapped mountains surrounding fertile valleys with cool, deep, crystal clear glacial runoff lakes at the bottom.

Following the accident involved in Tzin's capture, the praxeum was closed, although the buildings were carefully sealed in case it ever needed to be re-opened.

The major spaceport and planetary capitol is Perzeta city, which is located on what was once the highest point of the quite flat sunken continent. The average depth of the ocean for several thousand kilometers is only 45 meters, allowing for lush coral reefs to develop. The Perzeta plateau on which the city is located is roughly 200 meters above sea level, and is surrounded by dramatic red cliffs.

The praxeum is located on the other size of the world, in a mountainous region of what is now the largest continent, comprising about 5% of the world's surface.

The majority of the population lives in small villages along the coast, with farming in the foothills and fishing out to sea. Most buildings are low and made of local concrete, decorated with seashells and colorful roofs which host thousands of colors of balloons and lanterns on the plentiful local holidays.
