X-Large Lightsaber

Whether to allow use by a jedi from a larger species or simply order to hold additional modifications, some Jedi make use of larger lightsabers. Often, the grip section is oblong rather than cylindrical and the power cell and related components are housed in an enlarged (sometimes spheroid) pommel. The only issue is that the larger weapon is somewhat more cumbersome and harder to conceal and use. A -1D to hide checks and a -2 to initiative if it is the largest weapon held is applied. The larger size often makes for a more robust design as parts are placed farther apart. Large lightsabers get 2D+1 to resist damage.

A typical example would be 40 cm in overall length with an average diameter of 5 cm.
