A blunt metal rod, typically rebar, about a meter long, wielded as a sword and empowered with the Force to block enemy lightsabers and blaster bolts.

It is much heavier than a lightsaber and balanced poorly. Use is penalized, defaulting to sword (-1D) or lightsaber (-3D) skill unless the wielder is practiced with Improvized Weapons.

Used by Quindo Septon to escape the Sith fortress on Byzantine in 6.9.87.
