Digmeat is the ugliest piece of Thumperflesh on Aysemius, but there is not another living creature in this galaxy that Kurgan loves more.

A mutt, and something of a runt at birth, Digmeat is nothing to look at, but still has many salutary characteristics. He is smart, loyal, and possessed of a seemingly inexhaustible endurance.

Along with Kurgan's three digs, Digmeat helps to herd the shep and comforts Kurgan when he screams out into the night in the throes of some painful memory.
