This chapter details everything you need to know about how to create a character for a Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. Well, almost everything. It won't give you much in the way of ideas, it won't give you pre-built characters and it won't give you a list of names to search through. It won't even list the different species in the Star Wars universe.

What it will do is give you the necessary information to make a character once you have all of that information, or at least once you have some chunk of it. While you might not have the Wookiee species data, you can probably make a good guess as to what their Strength and Dexterity minimums and maximums are. Good enough to get it by your gamemaster at least. This section has more in it than most Star Wars roleplaying books give you to make a character. You can find ways to get extra points to make the character as fleshed out as you desire and you can get the advantages needed to get by the bad guys, be they Rebel, Imperial, or neutral.
