Improved Minifac

The Jedi have perfected a minifac that is capable of rapidly constructing large and complex items. This capability is essential to their six-month obsolescence cycle and some of the results have been seen on Aysemius. With careful programming, the device can be designed to be self-cannibalizing, therefore ensuring it is capable of only one use.

For a starship-sized minifac such as the one on Blood Price, the following are a good estimate of its usefulness:

1: Can build effectively cr100/hr, but must have all the necessary materials at necessary purity. Has 50% waste (can be recycled, but now considered "junk whatever you just built" for recycling purposes)
2: Can refine/recycle raw materials at a rate dependent on quality of source and purity of needed output, but it can use just about anything (including the bodies of your enemies...) GM ruling, but in general, pre-refined material is better (natural gas is good for synthesizing plastics, the actual plastic is better, scrap metal is better than ore, etc.)
3: While operating, the ship can't do anything else -- no hyper, no guns, no shields, no main engines. Life support and basic particle shields will consume the rest of the shipboard power output.
4: If production is halted mid-run, item is scrapped per usual rules.
5: Has a database of most things a colony would need, so basic personal weapons, farm equipment, some biological equipment, etc. More can be added as needed.
