The Jedi maintain that "The Force" and Jedi Philosophy does not constitute a religion, however the Jedi remain a quasi-religious order. As the Jedi move into a deeper governmental role as the supreme legal and executive power in the New Jedi Oligarchy, the relationship between Jedi and relgion becomes of great concern to many.

The question remains... if the Jedi are not a religious organization, why do they meet in places like the Jedi Temple?.
