'What is the DEI'

The Department of External Inteligence (DEI) is an independent agency, responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior Republic policymakers. The Director of DEI (D/Dei) is appointed by the officer of Knowledge with with the advice and consent of the rest of the council. The Director manages the operations, personnel and budget of the Department of External Intelligence.
