Create Amulet

Alter Difficulty:Moderate for 1D power, Difficult for 2D, Very Difficult for 3D, Heroic for 4D, +15 for each additional die.

Required Powers: Absorb-Dissipate Energy

Warning:Anyone using this power gains a Dark Side Point.

Effect:This power allows the user to infuse a small object, such as a trinket or gauntlets or a scabbard with certain powers. The user defines at the time of creation what type of amulet this is: Either a focus for a specific Dark Side power, an offensive tool, or a defensive tool. A focus adds the power bonus to the roll of one specific Dark Side power, if the power has more than one check associated with it, the power may be divided any way the user sees fit at the time of creation. An offensive amulet will create waves of darkness to batter a specific target doing damage for the power of the amulet. A defensive amulet will act as armor for all attacks, energy, physical, or mental against the bearer. Each use of an amulet will reduce its power by 1D until the wearer recieves a Dark Side Point while not using the amulet. A maximum of 1D may be recovered per day in this fashion. If an amulet is ever reduced to 0D, it is destroyed. Use of an offensive amulet will grant the user a Dark Side Point, but this does not count towards recharging the device. The energy cast by an offensive amulet may be resisted with absorb/dissipate energy.
