You are addicted to a drug, which you must use daily or suffer from withdrawl penalties. This disadvantage has a bonus depending on the severity of the drug addiction:

• Daily dose costs 20cr or less: -1D
• Daily dose costs 21-100cr: -2D
• Daily dose costs over 100cr: -4D
• Drug is incapacitating or hallucinogenic: -2D
• Drug is highly addictive (-2D on withdrawl check): -1D
• Drug is extremely addictive (-3D on withdrawl check): -2D
• Drug is legal in the main campaign setting: +1D!

Example: Chak-root is cheap, highly addictive, and legal in most places in the rim; a smoker would have a -1D addiction. Glitterstim is expensive, extremely addictive, and hallucinogenic; an addict would have a -8D addiction!
