Acausal Intensifier

Makes Weakly Acausal Effect weapons highly unreliable. Presumably works on similar principles, but in reverse. Has been known to have dramatic consequences to both the user of any acausal weapon and the nearby vicinity, but more often just makes the thing miss by disrupting its targeting algorithms. Since the effect is hard to measure unless it hits something anyway, correcting fire is difficult, even with advanced computers and sensors.

On its own, can be used as a mild weapon by weakening cause-effect relationships. Things are more likely to happen spontaneously, and some of the survivable effects such as breakdowns, rain of fish while on a starship, and spontaneous combustion have been documented. This has been deployed by some Dark Swarm elements, although the Jedi Order seems to have developed and deployed it independently. Presumably the other major powers also have the technology, as swarm elements can also do something similar to the acausal effect.
