Khe Lam has been the sight of both VC and NVA movements. We believe a strike is imminent, but we want to hit them first before they assault our new firebase. Reports indicate a platoon of Main Force NVA will be travelling towards the town. You will take your squads and you will intercept and ambush them 1 mile North of the ville of Khe Lam by setting up an ambush.

It is believed the NVA will be travelling between roads and trails with outer elements spread out. A FAC aircraft has been assigned to try and keep track of its movements and supply aircover when available.You will have the following additional equipment:

10 White Phosphorous trip flares 10 Claymore Mines

You have the following support:

Med evac helicopter (off board, you will need to set up a landing zone)

2 Mortars (off board supplied by 2 M106 Mortar Carriers)

The game will begin with you finding a suitable landing zone and setting up the ambush. It takes one turn to set up a trap (claymore or flare). If you are going to have the claymores set for remote detonation someone has to have the clacker.

Map:

Lots of Trees and a river runs through it. Various trails and a single road heading North/South. Because you are setting up the ambush you may decide how this is setup.
