Glue foam or cardboard triangles in a circle

It is believed that a 750lb bomb will make a crater 40' wide and 40' deep.

Also, the craters would remain HOT (not merely warm) for up to 3 days. The blast from a 1000-pounder can be felt a mile away. I'm not exactly sure what the prescribed (viz actual) safety zone for one is, tho'.
