Cleaning

Why Should I Clean My Models/Miniatures Before I Paint/Assemble Them?

Mold makers use chemicals to aid in the release of the model from the mold. These release agents are usually still on the miniature when boxed. A release agent can prevent glue from making a proper join and paint from adhering to the model.

What do I need?

A toothbrush, warm soapy water, and a towel. If cleaning sprues, you may want to use a bowl or a large dish pan to clean them in. Some people will use stronger detergents like Castrol Super Clean.
