1/4" Jacks

Most studio musicians, guitarists etc. are more familiar and comfortable with 1/4" mono jacks than the 1/8" stereo jacks on the ez-kit lite. 1/4" is more durable, easy to replace if/when broken, etc.
  • The output jacks you can simply wire in parallel with the 1/8" jack on the EZ-Kit Lite.
  • For the input jacks, you must desolder the 1/8" input on the EZ-Kit Lite. This is because the special jacks close the circuit when there is no input on there.

    To make these jacks, I just bought the simplest, cheapest ones at Radio Shack. You want Mono 1/4". Drill 1/4" holes into your panel and go for it.
