MIDIbrick is a platform for MIDI application development and exploration.
It is based on a Philips 80C552 core (8051 derivative). Peripherals
on-board include 128KB in-circuit programmable Flash ROM, 128KB static RAM,
8255 peripheral I/O expander, 16C552 dual UART, MIDI interface, RS232 serial
port and LCD port.
Several applications have been developed using MIDIbrick, including a
touch-sensitive X-Y MIDI controller, MIDI-synced LFO generator for
controller messages, and an IDE interface.
