About Some Notable Ghouls
There are some ghouls who have made themselves known, even
infamous, within Kindred society. I present some of these ghouls
here:
Maggie
- This ghoul has been in Clan Ventrue for several hundred years -
she is the oldest ghoul that I know of. Her true origin is unknown,
but she wields great influence in that Clan.
Ossian
- This is no ordinary ghoul - Ossian is a werewolf. He is hunted
by all of the Justicars and all right-minded Kindred,
and justly so, for he has killed many of us in order to obtain
Vitae to survive more than a hundred years.
Vlad Tepes
- You did not know he was a ghoul, did you? Then again,
Vlad Dracul has been so many things - Camarilla, Sabbat,
Anarch, perhaps even Inconnu. I was told by a lady who
would know that he was a rogue ghoul before he was Embraced
by the Tzimisce.
Zantos
- He is an assassin of vampires, rumored to have been trained by the
Sabbat, but I have also heard rumors that he was trained by the
Assamites.
Kali's Children
- This gang of rebellious ghouls is no better than a pack of
Sabbat. They travel America and kill lone vampires for their blood.
Caine's ghoul
- This legend has remained among us for many years, but although
there are occasional rumors of a sighting of our progenitor Caine,
I have heard of none about his ghoul.
Van Gogh
- Rather than dying penniless and heartbroken, Van Gogh was taken
by Mssr. Rouge, a Malkavian. After Van Gogh's rise to prominence
following his "death", he was the subject of a bitter conflict between
Clans Malkavian and Toreador. Like so many great pieces of art, he
was either destroyed or hidden away and has not been seen since.
Countess Elizabeth Bathory
- Yes, my dear, I know, she's one of us now, but before she
was Embraced she was a ghoul. I've heard that she was taken
because of her Sire's twisted idea that Embracing her would
somehow reduce the ruckus that she was causing.
Spartacus and his gladiators
- These famous young gentlemen were pawns of the Lasombra
as they tried to bring down the Ventrue and Malkavians in Rome.
They failed, of course...
