CHARACTER WRITEUPS
The Storytellers want these Writeups ASAP, but they are "due" by the
sunday prior to
the next main run. At this time (shortly thereafter) Experience Will
Be Awarded. Anyone who does not submit a writeup by the "due" date
receives an XP report of zero XP.
You have until the day of the game to spend any experience, once the
run starts for that meeting you may not spend experience until after
the run.
Some people find it helpful to keep a journal either at game sessions
or right after; some even do it in-character. We leave the mode of
recording your actions up to you. We just need SOME idea of what you
did.
Here are some leading questions which h has found useful in the past
as jumping-off points. You don't have to treat this as a
questionnaire to be filled out after every run, but it is a guide.
They are in no particular order.
- Who did you speak with? About what?
- Did you travel anywhere in the City apart from the game venue?
- Did any money change hands?
- Did you get involved in any combat or other challenges?
- Did you sustain or give any wounds?
- Did you use any Abilities or Influences?
- Did you use any Disciplines? To what effect?
- Did you spend any Willpower. On what?
- Did you spend any Blood. On what?
- Did you feed to replenish any blood?
- Did you acquire or lose any loot/trinkets/gadjets?
- Did anything trigger a Beast Trait or Derangement?
- Did you try to stave it off? Did you succeed?
- Did you learn any secrets?
- Did you tell any lies? Why?
- Do you think anyone lied to you? Why?
- Did you form or become ensnared in any Blood Bonds?
- Did you commit or observe any breaches of the Masquerade?
- Did you achieve any short term, long term or life goals? How?
- Did you attempt to achieve any goals and fail? How?
- Did you commit Diablerie? Did you get caught? Did you survive?
- Were you Diablerized?
- The Most Surprising Thing That Happened Was_____________________?
- Something I Completely Expected That Happened Was_______________?
- I would really like to strangle the Storytellers for____________?
